stories featured in this world may contain sensitive topics that may potentionally trigger or upset some. please read with caution!
so...where to?

There is no singular storyline in Polar City - instead, a long intersecting web of separate stories to which each character is attached.
here are just a few...

Cain Complex
Even in death, Shrike's abusive older brother casts a heavy shadow of pain and grief on his family. Shrike tries to reintegrate himself back into society, even if he lives a double lifestyle of gruesome crime, to provide for his family.
Hotel California
In a rural town bordering the Mojave , multiple reports of missing persons have been springing up in and around a shoddy abandoned hotel. Diego Lupin, a private investigator, is sent to investigate. He finds himself being tailed by the death goddess herself in his pursuit to find the truth.

vampire church
Bernadette Vandame, a meek woman who was the first victim of the prolific “Father Of Vampires”, a Strigoi named Lazurus. She finds herself wrapped up in his shenanigans after he desires to be closer to her, calling her his ‘sacrificial lamb’. Little does she know, Lazarus is a cultist. "heart of it all!"
there is no specific region to which polar city takes place.
things take place where you want them to.

In this story, the continents did not break apart. Instead, they remain as one large super continent - Pangea! One important thing to note is that modern country borders still apply.
Many species inhabit the world, from the earth's crust to the clouds above or even the burning inferno below - all are bustling places where many types of monsters have settled. There is no “Good” species in Polar City. Angels can be deceitful and treacherous, while Demons can be kind and polite - so on, so fourth.
From the Heavens above, The Hellfire below, and even different planets have different government systems. Most of the planet is kept spinning with work from the multiple gods that take care of things such as weather, death, or even nature itself.
places of note
Terra
Terra, or just “Earth” is the surface world humans like you and I can comfortably walk on. A place in rich biodiversity, home to many many keystone species.
Pretty simple, really.

Los Paradeisos
A large city on an archipelago of clouds, constantly moving as the clouds do their course around the atmosphere.
The capital for all things holy and where more Divinian beings live. To enter this place you must be a creature with wings or maintain a blessing from one of the Divine gods - or else you will fall straight through the clouds. That or the large, mechanical Cherubim guarding the gates will escort you out.
Urbis Incendio
The ever-burning city is surrounded by steep crags, lava springs and molten rivers. Grand and gothic in its architecture, this is the place where many Luciferian monsters are born. The scorching heat may be enough to drive the average Terra-Dweller away. But with a blessing from a luciferian god, the heat will become manageable. The city is layered, a subway system that goes down and up. 9 layers - or 9 circles.
